We are excited to extend our reach and make a more significant impact in our community by adding a part-time director for HOPE in Fostoria. Established in 2017 by a group of concerned citizens, HOPE is a grassroots effort to address the heroin and opioid epidemic in the Fostoria area by promoting education and prevention in the community. Since our inception, HOPE has grown and expanded its focus to address all substance abuse disorders and mental health related matters.
This part-time position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, with the potential to evolve into a full-time position.
Responsibilities: Oversee agency’s operations and budget process; provide supervisory oversight to staff; assist board members with strategic planning; collaborate with local service agencies; implement programs and activities; seek and write grant proposals; maintain website and social media platforms and all administrative tasks necessary to maintain non-profit status.
Qualifications: Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred with experience in policy/planning, social services/non-profit or a related field; strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; highly proficient in computer skills; ability to work both independently and collaboratively and able to work flexible hours; maintain a valid driver’s license and ability to drive or obtain transportation.
