March 9, 2022, Fostoria, Ohio – The Board of Directors for HOPE in Fostoria is pleased to announce the hiring of Ronele Myers as the Prevention Coordinator. In this role, Ronele will coordinate and oversee prevention activities in Fostoria and Seneca County.  She will also serve as the Coordinator for the CARSA Coalition in Seneca County.

Ronele began her career in the mental health field in 2007, working to provide quality housing for underserved individuals.  She also has experience serving as the chairperson for the former Seneca County Homeless Coalition and the Optimist Club of Tiffin.  Most recently, she has worked with response teams in Crawford and Wyandot Counties to provide advocacy for survivors of sexual assault.

“I am very excited to transition from my roles working in intervention to begin a new chapter providing prevention services to the youth in our communities,” said Ronele Myers.  “Throughout my career, I have seen the importance firsthand of providing education and resources to our youth.  We need to meet our students where they are and give them the information, they need to make good choices.”

Ronele resides in Tiffin, Ohio with her two children, Annika and Vince, and their dog, Maggie.

The HOPE in Fostoria team also includes Director, Shelly Biggert, and Recovery Coordinator, Stephanie Churella as well as 15 board members and many more committee volunteers.
