The Board of Directors for HOPE in Fostoria is pleased to announce the hiring of Shelly Biggert, LPCCs, as the Community Prevention Coalition’s Part-Time Director.

In her new role, Shelly directs and oversees HOPE, with support from an active board of volunteers, as well as CARSA of Seneca County and Lotus Recovery House in Tiffin.

“The HOPE Board is excited to welcome Shelly into this new role,” said Autumn Clouse, President of HOPE in Fostoria Board. “She has the background and training the organization was lacking to take our efforts to the next level and truly make Fostoria a healthier and happier place to live and work.”

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Shelly obtained a license to evaluate and treat clients who are dealing with behavioral disorders and addiction problems.

“I feel very blessed to have so much support from the board and community,” said Shelly Biggert, Director of HOPE in Fostoria. “Although this is a new role, there is a great foundation in place. Together, I know we will make a lasting impact in Fostoria and the surrounding communities.”

Shelly and her husband, Rodney, reside in New Riegel, Ohio and have two sons.
